Open Question: Car registration Question?

Is it okay to register a car in a state thats different than the state you have your drivers license in? For example say ive got my drivers license in alaska but want to register my car in montana. Would the dmv make me register in alaska? Im going to college in Montana and the car will be staying in and around montana. I wouldnt ever plan on driving it to alaska... read more
